Schedule
Friday afternoon/evening
Check in, have a cup of tea and make yourself at home. For early arrivals a mixed levels class is available before dinner. After a delicious meal and evening orientation, unwind with a session of restorative yoga. Later enjoy the hot-tub and wood-fired sauna* before settling into bed.
Saturday
Saturday morning starts gently with classical breathing practices and guided meditation. Then choose the posture class right for you:
Beginning Hatha Yoga (2 Levels as needed)
Slow moving, easy to do postures suitable for anyone beginning yoga. The emphasis is on alignment and breath while building concentration, strength, and softness.
Power-Flow Yoga
For those who are comfortable in basic postures and want more of a challenge. Postures are connected together in a mindful and fluid progression with attention to alignment and breath - includes energizing flow workout, as well as sustained poses.
Spend the early afternoon outdoors, hiking or exploring the Ganges shops and Farmers Market. Or, relax at the Centre, read by the fire or pond, or stroll through the gardens and grounds. In addition, enjoy a private bodywork session at our Chikitsa Shala Wellness Centre.
Return for late afternoon yoga; classes will unwind with a Restorative Yoga component. After dinner, indulge in a casual evening with homemade dessert and tea and an optional evening program.
Sunday
After your Sunday morning yoga, brunch, and good-byes, you’ll head for home refreshed, renewed and ready for the next journey life brings you.
Extended Yoga Getaway Schedule (for June 2nd and Nov 10th only)
The day/evening Sunday schedule will be the same as saturday - including an early afternoon yoga theory/discussion class option.
Monday
After your morning yoga, brunch, and good-byes, you’ll head for home refreshed, renewed and ready for the next journey life brings you.
