STEP 1: Contact us at 250.537.2326 to ensure there is space in the program and to review the accommodation options.
STEP 2: Fill in and Submit the appropriate Registration Form (see forms below).
STEP 3: We will contact you to confirm details and arrange payment.

Payment Options
If you select PayPal as your payment method, we will send you a PayPal invoice which can be paid securely online. Alternatively, you may telephone us with your credit card information at 250.537.2326. Your credit card number will not be kept in our files subsequent to processing your payment. Please do not under any circumstances send your credit card information by e-mail.

We also accept Canadian or US cheques and/or money orders. Payments in US funds will be credited toward program fees at the prevailing exchange rate.

When Payment is Received
After we receive your registration form and payment, a confirmation letter and receipt will be emailed to you. If you pay by US cheque or money order, there may be a balance owing or refundable, depending on the exchange rate we receive from our bank.

Cancellation Policy for Personal Retreats

• Up to 7 days prior to your arrival date, your payment is refundable minus a $20 administration fee.
• Within 7 days to 24 hours of your arrival date, a $50 administration fee is retained.
• Less than 24 hours notice, one days’ rate will be charged.
• If your cancellation is received less than 24 hours before your arrival date, the rate for one day will be charged.

Cancellation Policy for all Other Programs and Retreats

• Up to one month prior to your arrival date, your payment is refundable minus a $20 administration fee.
  
• Within one month and up to 7 days of your arrival date, a fee of $50 is retained, and the balance is held as a credit for one year.
  
• Within 7 days of your arrival date, a fee of $100.00 is retained, and the balance is held as a credit for one year.
  
• No refunds or credits are given if you cancel on the day of, or during a program.
  
• In the event that the Centre cancels a program due to insufficient registration or unforeseeable events, you will be notified 14 days prior to the start date and your fee will be refunded in full.

NOTE:  Credits are transferable to another person with your written permission.

Bodywork or Ayurvedic Sessions

We strongly recommend you pre-book appointments two weeks prior to your visit to ensure the best availability. For more information or to book an appointment, contact the Chikitsa Shala Wellness Centre at 250.537.8443 or chikitsashala@saltspringcentre.com.

Meals
We serve a variety of healthy vegetarian meals. On your registration form you will be asked to indicate if you have any food allergies that we need to be aware of. Please let us know at least two weeks in advance of your stay.

What to Bring
Please bring toiletries, comfortable clothing, slippers or indoor shoes, a bathrobe, bathing suit for sauna which is scheduled during cool seasons, walking shoes, flashlight, an alarm clock and rain clothes. If you have a yoga mat, you are welcome to bring that too.

NOTE:  Our floors are used primarily for yoga classes; we do not wear outdoor shoes inside.

We request that guests do not bring pets, alcohol, non-prescription drugs, or non-vegetarian food, or wear scented body products, as we want to provide a fragrance-free environment for all. Smoking is not permitted at the Centre, or on the grounds. Please visit our Centre Guidelines page for details.

NOTE:  Cell phone reception is not available at the Centre. A pay phone is offered for use.
