We offer a variety of retreats and programs for individuals, families and groups. Come for a day or a week. Take home a lasting sense of tranquility. Eat delicious, freshly prepared food, wander the forest trails of our extensive grounds, enjoy a treatment at our on-site Wellness Centre, join our community events, or enjoy a good book and tranquility.

Yoga Teacher Training

Each July and August the Salt Spring Centre offers a 200 hour yoga teacher training program where students are able to live on site or commute. The students practice Asana, Shat Karma, Pranayama, Mudras and Bandhas, Dhyana, Pratyahara, mantra yoga and hand mudras. The program includes theory classes which provide a comprehensive explanation of classical eight-limbed ashtanga yoga and hatha yoga systems. Learn more >>>

Public Offerings

The Salt Spring Centre of Yoga has many public offerings, which you are welcome to attend. All of these public offerings are free of charge. However, donations are always welcomed and appreciated as the Centre is a non-for-profit organization. Learn more >>>

Yoga Getaways

Take some personal time for yourself to rejuvenate and recharge at the Centre. Our yoga getaway is the perfect way to relax the mind and body. The getaway includes two nights accommodation, delicious vegetarian meals and a variety of yoga classes to suit all levels in the morning and afternoon.  Learn more >>>

Personal Retreats

Personal Retreats are available April 1 through October 31, 2019.

The Centre offers the possibility of short stay personal retreats to enable guests to pursue their individual practice of yoga in a peaceful and beautiful environment shared with a small spiritual community. Learn more >>>

Residential Karma Yoga Program

Are you interested in becoming part of a spiritual community and deepening your understanding and practice of yoga?  If so, our upcoming Residential Karma Yoga Program may be for you! We will start accepting applications early in January for our April 2018 intake.  The program will run in 10 week sessions. Annual Community Yoga Retreat

Held every year in early August, our Annual Community Yoga Retreat is an ideal opportunity for those new to yoga as well as those who wish to rekindle their personal practice. Going Deeper Meditation Retreat


Join us in November for our Going Deeper Meditation Retreat – an intensive, small group experience devoted to a deeper level of meditation practice for people who have some knowledge of meditation and yoga. This silent retreat utilizes a darkened, “cave-like” setting, a light diet, meditation, asana, mantra, and more to encourage inward reflection and support of Sadhana.  Learn more >>>
